“Angel of the North” is an original song written by Roland Reissmann, created as an emotional dialogue between two people whose feelings for one another are not quite the same.

She has fallen in love and calls him her “Angel of the North.” He cares deeply for her, but what he can offer is friendship. Their voices move back and forth between hope, affection and the difficult moment when love has to accept its limits.

The song will be performed as a duet by JOHN D and Gio Box Singer, with the two voices telling both sides of the story.

An early version of “Angel of the North” has already been presented to a small audience in Playa del Inglés, where it received a warm and enthusiastic response.

The song is dedicated to Anita, a very special friend whose own experience inspired its emotional heart — and for whom the song became a way of giving words to feelings that were difficult to let go.
