JOHN D is a classically trained Belgian singer, entertainer and live performer whose career spans musical theatre, opera, revue, pop and international show music.

Trained at the renowned Studio Herman Teirlinck in Antwerp, JOHN D developed a strong technical foundation as a vocalist and stage performer. His background in musical theatre and opera gave him something that remains at the heart of his work today: the ability to combine vocal power with emotion, character and theatrical presence.

FROM THEATRE TO THE CHARTS

Over the years, JOHN D became an experienced performer on Belgian stages, including revue productions in Ostend and Blankenberge.

In 2001, his distinctive voice reached an even wider audience with “This Is My Life”, recorded for the Belgian dance project Girlz?! feat. Duchi Davoy. The track became a major success, reaching the Top 10 in Flanders and remaining in the charts for nine weeks.

It was a very different musical world — but the voice was unmistakably his.

This time, he steps into the spotlight entirely under his own name — bringing his voice, personality and decades of stage experience to Gran Canaria and a new international audience.

His show “Nobody Does It Like Me” brings these different worlds together: powerful vocals, timeless music, theatrical transformation and genuine live entertainment.
